Zen Chic’s fabulous new fabric line: Celestial
Zen Chic can add another amazing line to her list of fabric collections. I am so proud of this one and I know you are enthusiastic about this color scheme since it came out on top in a poll on Instagram. I love asking my quilting fans and providing for them.
So I give you Celestial, a modern, natural, harmonious fabric group, which has this special something. Take a look and imagine the projects and quilts you can make with these fantastic fabrics.

Celestial for a minimalistic style
The Celestial line is catered to a minimalistic style, which reminds us of Scandinavian interior design. The main fabric is the collage print, one that comes on a black and cream background. And this larger print comes in a canvas as well, so perfect to use for bags, home dec, fabric baskets, and everything that needs that sturdier fabric.
Smaller projects ideal for the Celestial collection
If you find some fabrics in this line that look familiar, you are right. My former collection More Background Even More Paper originates from the Celestial line. So some similarities are indeed a fact.
To give you an idea of what smaller projects you can make with the Celestial fabrics, you can think of a baby quilt or lap size quilt. But also clothing or a little pouch.

Just one Jelly Roll and some yardage for the background are the ingredients for this queen-size quilt. The blocks in the center are super easy to make and the quilt will be done in no time!

With its elegant, randomly spread diamond shapes and the calm light background, Jewel makes for a striking lap-size quilt. The technique used is FPP and a Fat Eighth Bundle provides all fabrics needed for the diamonds.

Half the Way
Half the Way is a modern take on a traditional quilt. Well-known blocks split diagonally into halves, a layout split into halves with lots of negative space to show intricate quilting – this makes this lap-size quilt appealing to the traditional quilter as well as to the modern.
